Last fall, the Catoosa County News featured CASA [Court Appointed Special Advocates] as the headline. Local citizens were encouraged to participate as CASA volunteers since there is a great shortage of them and children are in desperate need of advocates. Considering that no one really has standing to complain about a system for which they do not bother to get involved with, my well known desire to prevent child abuse and my activities with youth camps to help children, I immediately took measures to be a CASA volunteer. I have personal, first hand knowledge of how "the system" abuses a family. CASA gives the public the impression that it is an organization that promotes unbiased and objective volunteers to assist in helping children. My investigation reveals that that is not the case in Northwest Georgia. Initially, I desired to be a CASA so I could do something to help children avoid abuse in "the system". When I learned that "the system" in our area was already well entrenched in the CASA program and that I was being singled out from being a CASA volunteer, I determined to investigate and report my findings in an effort to help children from another angle, and expose this to the community.
It should be pointed out that it took months for the CASA coordinator, Tracy Wimberley to begin classes to train the only two people in our area who volunteered, me and another person. Furthermore, it should be noted that Tracy Wimberley was previously the "head child-snatcher" for Child Protective Services in Catoosa County. Why do I use the term "child-snatcher"? While in training and attending juvenile court in Catoosa County, Judge Poston presiding, Ms. Wimberley asked the attorney representing CPS in our district, "snatched any kids today?" I also noted that Judge Poston was illegally giving advise to the CPS attorney in court that day. This was reported to the Catoosa County News with no response. It should be also noted that at no time have I been disrespectful or hostile to the CASA organization in Catoosa County.
Finally, CASA classes started. I was issued the CASA training manual and started attending the classes. Just before the time I was to complete the class and start helping children, excuses were being made that classes were cancelled. It was at that point that they were preparing to give me the axe. I received a letter from Melissa Gifford and Tracy Wimberley stating that I was dropped from the program for being dishonest on my application. This is where it gets difficult for me because I've once more been defamed by "the system", and I have to publicly reveal a tragic event in my personal family life resulting from an attempt to snatch my now ex-wifes daughter by CPS in Catoosa County, Georgia to expose CASA and CPS abuse. So, this is for you little children, parents and readers. This insanity must be stopped.
They accused me of not disclosing that I was previously under "investgation" by CPS. They didn't bother to call me and ask me why I had not, they just gave me the axe. They also accused me of not disclosing that I had children. I explained that the daughter was not mine, but that she was my ex-wifes. It should be noted that I had treated the child as my own daughter for 4 years, since she was 2 years old, and was proud to let her use my family name being that she was born illegitimate, and I wanted her to avoid facing any redicule from other children. I loved being "Dad". In a world where so many men avoid responsibility for being a father you would think I'd have been treated better for taking on a new wife and three children with enthusiasm. But that did not matter to CASA.
I also told them that when we were visited by CPS and agreed to allow them to interview the daughter, though I demanded that it be video-taped [they refused me the opportunity to record their interview at the home, which resulted in going to their facility], they informed me that I was not under investigation because their was a complete lack of evidence against me. I specifically asked them if I was under investigation because I had intentions of sueing the accuser for defamation of character. Ms. Wimberley emphasized that I was not under investigation because I was so upset and determined to take legal action [that statement is on audio tape that I had on me at the facility]. For the record, Ms. Wimberley, in reporting her findings in the interview said, "she didn't even go there." Of course the daughter didn't "go there", meaning that she didn't even hint at any child abuse by me or my wife. I loved that child and could never do anything to abuse her. But did this matter to CASA in allowing me to continue classes? Absolutely not.
During the exchange of written correspondence, I repeatedly asked them to call me and help resolve this matter instead of taking days writing back and forth. I wanted to complete my class and do something to help children in our area! That went nowhere. Eventually, when I had disclosed that Ms. Wimberley was the one being dishonest and had lied, and that I had evidence to prove it, they completely stopped writing me. They had realized that I had backed them into a corner. And they knew that I had found out that it was a neighbor who had called CPS on me in the first place because she was a barren woman who coveted that lovely and talented child and sought out to destroy our family to get her! This barren woman was a drug-abusing, paralegal and was cozy with CPS, she admitted to me.
Since CASA has admitted guilt through default [by not responding to my last letter exposing their lies for several weeks now] it should be clear that they were wrong and I was right. It should be clear that CASA here in Northwest Georgia has no real intentions of being honest and non-discriminating with CASA volunteers, much less devoted to child advocacy. While in class, I was asked why I thought there was such a problem with child abuse in America. When I answered that it was because God and the timeless principles revealed in the Bible had been pushed out of public view in our society I was met with a wide-eyed look of shock and disbelief by Ms. Wimberley. It was then I knew that I may have shot my chances of being a CASA volunteer. You see, the CASA manual trains the CASA volunteers to be tolerant of anti-Christian ideals. It is obvious that CASA ultimately supports the same anti-Christian ideals that Planned Parenthood and Child Protective Services maintain. God help the children in America.
