![]() The official start of the ASDCV was on March 8, 2007, at the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the 1957 Georgia Memorial to Congress at Hargrave Cemetery in Hargrave, Georgia. At this event, the Jesse Hargrave Camp was established as the first camp of the American Confederate Sons & Daughters Of Confederate Veterans. We will be adding more information in the very near future on this website. You may view the 1957 Georgia Memorial to Congress by clicking here and see the most important documentation ever passed by the Georgia Legislature memorializing the true history of the South and its oppression by corporate interests determined to control both North and South for their own exploitative ends. In light of the continual distortion of facts regarding the history of the South, The ASDCV was founded as an organization of both men and women dedicated to presenting the truth and preserving the history of their ancestors, and contribute to an open forum for discussing current events regarding this matter in an effort to heal re-opened old wounds and move onward to peace as One People. That is what the one star on the Bonnie Blue flag has always represented ~ Standing as One. It is also hoped that folks from the North will also learn the truth and join with us as one, as the truth sets us all free. All Sons and Daughters of Confederate Veterans are welcome to join the ASDCV "officially" by contacting us and submitting your name and evidence of your ancestors military participation in the South (members of other groups welcome). All are welcome regardless of background, as people of different races fought for the South. It is also important to note that both the North and South lost in the foreign-sponsored war for commercial interests erroneously dubbed "The Civil War" or "The War Between The States". Please feel free to join in the discussion on the Bonnie Blue Forum linked above and below. Thank you for visiting.
![]() Mission Statement In proper recognition of the Confederate soldier's good name and their descendants, the guardianship of their history, the emulation of their virtues, the perpetuation of those principles they loved and which made them honorable, we remember them as our duty to see the true history of the South is preserved for future generations and their resting places cared for in loving memory.
